CREDIT REVIEW BOARD SETS MINOT FORUM

BISMARCK – The North Dakota Credit Review Board (CRB) has scheduled an open forum for agriculture lenders, implement dealers and other agri-business representatives during its regular meeting, Tuesday, June 24, in Minot.

The forum begins at 10 a.m., at the Holiday Inn Express, 300 37th Ave. SE.

“This is an opportunity for lenders and agri-business people in the Minot area to share their thoughts and ideas in an informal, roundtable discussion,” said Elwood “Woody” Barth, Solen, CRB chairman. “We are very interested in their assessment of current farm financial conditions and producer attitudes, as well as their own expectations for the coming year.”

Following the forum, the board will continue its regular meeting. Both the forum and meeting are open to the public.

The six-member CRB establishes policy for the North Dakota Agricultural Mediation Service (NDAMS), serves in an advisory role to the North Dakota Farm and Ranch Business Management Program, and advises the Industrial Commission on Bank of North Dakota farm lending programs.
