ND Department of Agriculture Press ReleasesFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE MARCH 26, 2009 INFORMATION NEEDED FROM LIVESTOCK PRODUCERS BISMARCK – State officials are urging livestock producers to immediately report any losses or cases of animal endangerment to their local North Dakota State University Extension agents. The North Dakota Department of Agriculture, the State Board of Animal Health and the Extension Service have received reports of dead, missing and stranded livestock, as a result of the flooding. Extension agents are compiling information from producers to help the state veterinarian’s office and other agencies devise a plan to respond to the needs within the state. The extension agents will be asking producers the following:
