Boards/Commissions
As the leading elected official representing North Dakota's agricultural sector, the Agriculture Commissioner is a member of numerous boards and commissions. These include major governmental policy-making bodies, such as the Industrial Commission, as well as general farm organizations and specialized organizations, such as commodity groups. The commissioner has assigned a North Dakota Department of Agriculture staff member as a liaison person to each of these entities.
