About Us

Are you interested in advancing your direct marketing skills to enhance your farmers market business, roadside stand or pick your own market?
Are you interested in supporting North Dakota locally grown and produced products?

If the answer is yes, this is the organization for you!

The North Dakota Farmers Market and Growers Association is a marketing organization that is geared to help you improve your marketing skills and to assist in supporting locally grown and processed North Dakota products.

PURPOSE

  • Build a farmers market program that connects producers and consumers.
  • Develop marketing tools and strategies for producers and market managers to ensure long-term sustainability of rural North Dakota.
  • Increase consumer and producer awareness on the benefits of fresh, locally grown products.

MEMBERSHIP

Membership in this organization is available to everyone who is engaged in the production, or promotion of direct marketing of freshly grown or processed North Dakota products. Join Now

Farmers Market Members: This option is open to all formally organized Farmers Markets that are actively engaged in direct marketing of locally grown or processed North Dakota products. Each farmers market manager is responsible for providing their vendors with NDFMGA member brochures detailing the benefits of the NDFMGA.  The Association will provide the brochures to the market manager once membership dues are received.  Each vendor of a farmers market in good standing with the NDFMGA who returns their contract information shall receive all benefits of membership.

The Farmers Market membership dues will be based on the number of vendors at its market in the previous year:

  • < 5 vendors $50 per year
  • 5-20 vendors $100 per year
  • 20+ vendors $150 per year

Individual Member: If a business or individual is not a member of a farmers market and is engaged in the production and direct marketing of locally grown or processed North Dakota products they may apply for an Individual Membership. Membership dues are $25 per year, per business (if applying for an Individual Membership, you must not be selling at a NDFMGA farmers market member).

Friends of the Market: This sponsorship option is available to all persons, local or regional groups or organizations who engage in the furthering of the NDFMGA and its purposes.

There are four sponsorships available:

  • Bronze - $100 per year
  • Silver – $200 per year
  • Gold – $350 per year
  • Platinum – $500 per year

MEMBERSHIP YEAR IS JANUARY 1ST THROUGH DECEMBER 31ST
